Pastor Sam was born and raised in Beirut, Lebanon in a religious home. When war broke out in 1976, he was forced to leave the country in 1976, with no future plans. It was in Ontario, Canada in 1985 where he met his wife Tracey. He & Tracey married & moved to Alberta in 1988.It was not long after that the Lord called him to serve His people. This union brought about two lovely daughters, who both love and serve the Lord in ministry.
The Rose of Sharon initially began when God placed a desire on his heart to help and to teach people how to be free from condemnation. After years of studying the Bible, and its doctrine, he felt led by the Spirit of God to help bring people out of their bondage. Pastor Sam worked in a local bar and witnessed to many such people. This is where the Rose of Sharon’s ministry first began, in a bar, preaching and leading people to their freely given freedom in Christ. People would come to hear about the love of God and all of the promises that were there for them. Many people received the Lord as their personal savior, got healed and delivered right there in a private area of the bar.
We are to spread the aroma of his knowledge to take the uncompromising Word of God and raise the standard of Christian living. We are to train believers to live by faith, walk in the Spirit, to hear God’s voice, and to overcome life’s pressures. Our goal is to renew people’s minds to conform to the Word of God and their identity in Christ.
2 Corinthians 2:14-17
14 Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. 15 For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing. 16 To the one we are the aroma of death leading to death, and to the other the aroma of life leading to life. And who is sufficient for these things? 17 For we are not, as so many,[b] peddling the word of God; but as of sincerity, but as from God, we speak in the sight of God in Christ
The wilderness and the wasteland shall be glad for them,
And the desert shall rejoice and blossom as the rose;
It shall blossom abundantly and rejoice,
Even with joy and singing.
The glory of Lebanon shall be given to it,
The excellence of Carmel and Sharon.
They shall see the glory of the Lord,
The excellency of our God.
Strengthen the weak hands,
And make firm the feeble knees.
Say to those who are fearful-hearted,
“Be strong, do not fear!
Behold, your God will come with vengeance,
With the recompense of God;
He will come and save you.”
Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened,
And the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.
Then the lame shall leap like a deer,
And the tongue of the dumb sing.
For waters shall burst forth in the wilderness,
And streams in the desert.

The vision of the ROS children’s ministries is to serve the Lord Jesus by teaching the truths of His word and preparing children for life in this world. We will do this by encouraging a habit of reading the word daily, helping children to see how the Lord’s word applies to their own lives, and by inspiring in children a love for the Lord, themselves, and others.

Our team is consumed by the love of the Father. We move in the prophetic, whether it be in worship or in word for the congregation, as we allow the Lord to shape and mold us into His image, we will be on point with Him and the Holy Spirit.
We are mature in our giftings of music and singing showing excellence on stage not for ourselves or for the congregation but pure and awesome worship and praise unto the Father.
We are submissive to Him and allow Him to do His perfect will not ours. Through God, we release the songs to the congregation with the power and anointing they carry to set at liberty those who are captive, heal the broken hearted, give sight to the spiritually and physically blind, set at liberty those who are oppressed and proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.

Our Vision is to build the fellowship within the family of God.. While we are being fed spiritually by the Holy Spirit we believe providing a snack/lunch allows relationships to be built on the foundation of Christ. Sharing what God is doing in each of our lives is valuable! Instilling a family bond within the body of Christ fulfills God's will! We are One in Him and each of us are an important part of the body.. Our mind, soul and body need to be fed and nurtured!

Being hungry for His presence and desiring to be in the presence of the Lord should be our greatest priority. Experiencing the intimate presence of your Heavenly Father will radically change your life! When our hearts are open in
worship with an attitude of surrender, God releases power through us as we dwell in intimacy with Him. It is the gateway into the supernatural. Come join us as we SOAK in God's presence.

Our vision is to help couples thrive in their marriage by providing empowering educational tools to nourish and cherish each other in a healthy marriage relationship. This ministry will not only play a pivotal role in building successful marriages but it will also impact children, families, the church and the community.
Oneness doesn’t just happen, couples make it happen. This ministry is a great place to start.
